The Weather in Iowa

Aaahh the weather is getting bad here in Iowa.. and there are still so many wonderful ideas in my hat and wonderful families to picture. I am praying for the weather fairy to swing by and grant me some sunshine today and the next two days.

Otherwise i can't wait to move into our new house and to start setting up a little studio in the basement and to move into my new office, which is very much needed. I am soooo excited for you to see how it's gonna look like in the end.

I will have to browse through a lot of garage sales to get some shelves and an old desk and a couple of other things to get my Vintage 50's style together. I hope there will be still some sales this winter.. if somebody know some garage sales dates or even got some Vintage 50's stuff or an old desk or chair for sale PLEASE let me know!









I had to share some of my favourite pictures from Ally in the last one and a half year! The newborn picture was taken by Jonathon and processed by me.. he is quite talented.. maybe my long desired second shooter for the weddings to come???

I am so blessed..

I think it is time again for a personal post.. I have to say i am sooooo blessed and happy. The last months was one of the most exciting time in my life. I happend to have the great opportunity to shoot a session with the UBER talented Brenna and from there on did my little photography business EXPLODE. I literally went from having to hunt people down to do a shoot to telling people i am thinking of calling this month BOOKED!!! WOW, just writing this gives me goosbumps. I feel i am finally exactly where i always wanted to be in live.. i can do what i love to do so much and i even get paid. AND most important.. people love what i do. It is the BEST thing in the world to hear from a client that they loved the pictures or even cried a little when they watched the slideshow.

And all this could not have happend without amazing people who totally believed in me and LOVE what i do and spread the word about AR Photography. I feel so blessed to live in such an amazing community with those wonderful people who just went ahead and told so many people about me.. i hope that the calls will never end and that next year i can continue to do my FAVOURITE thing in the world!! May everybody in Manson, IOWA end up with an AR Photography picture on the wall!!! Thanks so much everyone, you really made me the luckiest person on earth!!

KEINOHRHASEN.. the weirdest title and the best film ever! Gosh do i adore Til Schweiger! Love it.. and i hope my best friends gonna think about my desire and get this dvd for my birthday!!!!

Ally's 4 Wheeler

My daugther is a tomcat.. and her favourite toy these days is daddy's 4 Wheeler. She hardly fits her arms from one side to the other but who cares.. as long as she can make brumm brumm and act as if she is riding it for real.
Gosh i hope those day's will never end :)
