i am soooo thankful..

for the fantastic Me Ra Koh Photography blog and the advice from Manon to look at their side and check the photography tipps out!

I studied Me Ra's tipps and they helped me so much. Yesterday evening i went on a little shoot with my husband and daugther to try out all the things i learned and i was soo amazed how differently i see the world thru my lens now!

Ally had so much fun playing with the little stones and checking out the beautiful Iowa sunset!

..and i couldn't wait to come home and load the pictures into Lightroom and see how they turned out! And i love it.. i am finally starting to go into the direction i always wanted to go. Can't wait to go out tonight and practice some more!

finally..

Graduation is here and my sister in law finally has her Graduation party and i am done now trying to take her perfect senior shot!!! Not that i do not love to take her pictures but i was so under pressure to satisfy her! It is sooo important for me to satisfy my customers in general but family... oh man! For those it is even more important!!!

So here is one more of HOlly! and than i had to do a homework for my course at better photo.com and i decided to ask Jordan, my brother in law to pose for me! Homework was a outside portrait.

I am still struggeling with my computer calibration and i can't get rid of that stinken' green tint in my pictures for some reason! But i think i did a little better in these shots here! Guess i have to open my check book and get me a colormunki or something similar!

did a little photoshoot yesterday evening with my daugther ally. this is the first shot i got done yesterday night. kinda had some trouble with my camera.. and the auto focus. but i guess i got it fixed now.

i am pretty excited.. just ordered a new lens Canon 50mm/f1.8. Can't wait to try it out! Gonna let you know how that went!!!
